Diet for a safe tan

And who would not want to have a nice enviable tanned body now that summer is ideally matched with the colorful clothes and swimsuits that are in vogue. Most women will say they struggle to get the tan that will satisfy (at least those that do not have the financial wherewithal to make a solarium and are going through a great period of economic crisis) without being aware that their diet can be a good ally in for a safe tan. Let’s look at the foods that can contribute to this effort.

  1. Carotenoids, pigments chiefly found in vegetables and fruits stored under the skin at high concentrations can affect the skin color. Carotenoids found in apricots, carrots, peaches, pumpkins in, in watermelon in red grapefruit, the tomato, oranges, the melon, the mango and peppers.
  2. Wholegrain cereals and fish as they contain selenium and zinc helps heal sunburn.
  3. Milk as they contain vitamins A and B2.
  4. Olive oil, almonds, legumes, salmon and sesame oil, contain vitamin E which enhances the tan and prevents skin aging.
  5. Eggs, liver, spinach, potato, broccoli and is rich viatini A.

“And if I do not receive the necessary protection and sun burnt?”

As known, the solar radiation is now quite dangerous for children and adults, so you should always before heading into the beach and enjoy the embrace of the sun we have secured a good sun protection. However if we overdo it and burned together with some food to relieve our skin in order to avoid dehydration and therefore peeling. This is supported by:

  1. Tomatoes, which simply mash and spread on the burnt skin.
